Whether you’re exploring the outdoors, heading into the mountains or layering up for a cold winter’s day, these thermal leggings deliver dependable warmth and all-day comfort.
🔥 Merino Max 300gsm – Maximum Warmth
Merino Max is the heaviest of the three Wilderness Wear Merino Wool activewear weights. This premium technical fabric has been designed and produced to provide outstanding warmth and protection in moderate to extreme cold conditions.
The heavyweight 300gsm construction creates a warm, insulating layer that is ideal for winter adventures and demanding outdoor environments. Wear these women’s thermal leggings as a next-to-skin base layer beneath your outdoor trousers or as part of a comfortable winter layering system.
🌡️ Natural Temperature Regulation
Merino wool is renowned for its ability to regulate body temperature in changing conditions. When you’re active in warmer weather, Merino fibres absorb moisture vapour from your body and help release it through the fabric, supporting a cooler, more comfortable feel.
In colder conditions, the natural properties of Merino wool help retain warmth, keeping you cosy when temperatures drop. This makes the Women’s Merino Max Leggings a versatile choice for outdoor activities, winter sports and everyday cold-weather wear.
🌿 Natural Merino Wool Benefits
Merino wool offers a range of natural performance benefits that make it an excellent choice for thermal base layers. It is naturally odour resistant, helping your leggings stay fresher between washes. Merino fibres are also soft against the skin, durable, washable and naturally UV resistant.
The fabric’s natural properties make these women’s Merino Max thermal leggings a practical and comfortable addition to your winter wardrobe.
🏔️ Your Winter Essential

Women’s Body Measurements
BUST: Measure the circumference of your chest. Place one end of the tape measure at the fullest part of your bust, wrap it around (under your armpits, around your shoulder blades, and back to the front) to get the measurement.
WAIST: Measure the circumference of your waist. Use the tape to circle your waist (sort of like a belt would) at your natural waistline, which is located above your belly button and below your rib cage. (If you bend to the side, the crease that forms is your natural waistline.)
HIP: Measure the circumference of your hips. Start at one hip and wrap the tape measure around your rear, around the other hip, and back to where you started. Make sure the tape is over the largest part of your hips.
INSIDE LEG: This is the distance from the uppermost inner part of your thigh to the bottom of your ankle. If you have a pair of pants that fit you perfectly, measure the inseam of the pants, again from the crotch to the hem.
