SIZE GUIDEThe Overland Hiker socks have all the features of the Larapinta Hiker socks but with a 1/2 height design. They are perfect for all of your multi-day backpacking and hiking adventures.
Why?
Simple: our WildernessWool™ reduces unpleasant foot odours, while the synthetic fibres extend durability. And the men’s Overland Hiker will amaze you the moment you slip a pair onto your feet with their luxurious feel. The socks will also impress with their fit, thanks to the ergonomically, optimized 1/2 length sock height, which allows the cuff to sit perfectly below the calf muscle. The Overland Hiker socks will fit perfectly without slipping down as the SFS (Secure-Fit-System) prevents creasing and keeps the socks where they belong. The HIGH cushioning throughout the sock will assist in absorbing impact on the trail and also keep your feet warm and dry in all conditions. Finally the LIN Toe seam reduces bulk and assists in preventing blisters.
This all makes the men’s Overland Hiker the ideal companion for your next outdoor trek. Mid-weight, robust and durable providing all day comfort.
The Natural Paradise of Tasmania
100% of the merino wool from this collection comes from Tasmania. The wool from this natural paradise is premium-quality and hard wearing. But just as important for us, this material is ethically and ecologically sound. We have very high expectations of the farmers. A large portion of their working time is committed to ensuring sustainable farm management and animal welfare.
EXP – Machine washable, chlorine free, total easy care.

The Overland Hiker socks.
I was fortunate enough to win a pair of the socks – and left it until this weekend to give them a thorough test! A 4 Day Hike to Kia Ora Hut on the Overland Track in Tasmania.I put the socks on at home in the morning – boy were they comfy, so soft and warm! Drove off to Lake St Clair, and after the usual bumpy ferry ride, we
started the walk to the first hut (Windy Ridge Hut). Weather would be considered “Ordinary” – rain, rain, and heavy rain! The socks were brilliant – no wearing, blisters, hot feet or sore spots at all! The kilometres rolled by with no issues at all. Then the dreaded “Puddle-too-deep-to-avoid” happened, and say hello to wet socks
and boots! Here’s where I expected cold feet, and blisters… but nope! Perfect! Wet, yes, but my feet were still comfy and still no blisters.

Women’s Body Measurements
BUST: Measure the circumference of your chest. Place one end of the tape measure at the fullest part of your bust, wrap it around (under your armpits, around your shoulder blades, and back to the front) to get the measurement.
WAIST: Measure the circumference of your waist. Use the tape to circle your waist (sort of like a belt would) at your natural waistline, which is located above your belly button and below your rib cage. (If you bend to the side, the crease that forms is your natural waistline.)
HIP: Measure the circumference of your hips. Start at one hip and wrap the tape measure around your rear, around the other hip, and back to where you started. Make sure the tape is over the largest part of your hips.
INSIDE LEG: This is the distance from the uppermost inner part of your thigh to the bottom of your ankle. If you have a pair of pants that fit you perfectly, measure the inseam of the pants, again from the crotch to the hem.

Athletic Fit
More of a “tailored” fit that is tighter across the middle and shoulder sections in tops and tighter across the backside, upper thigh and lower leg sections in leggings.
Slim Fit
A snug, close-to-the body fit for low bulk, layering. Clothing in this style don’t have extra fabric hanging or draping anywhere.
Regular Fit
Neither snug, nor loose, these garments are worn solo or over other layers. Regular fit clothing tends to fit most body types comfortably and have a little extra fabric than slim fit.
Relaxed Fit
Relaxed refers to a fit that’s looser than regular, but not baggy. Typically, relaxed clothing provide a comfortable, looser fit.
