Steph Auston

Steph Auston is a physiotherapist who loves to run.

She is currently training for road and trail races from 20km to 102km distances. Nearly all of Steph’s time, outside of work hours, is running the roads and trails around the Sapphire Coast of NSW, or planning her next adventure.

She recently completed the Tarawera Ultra Marathon 102kms in NZ where she finished in second place (behind ultra Marathon legend Courtney Dalwalter).

Steph’ major goal is to qualify and compete in the Marathon at the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games. Leading up to this she aims to be competitive in international trail and marathon events, especially the Salomon New Golden Trail Series.

Steph states, ‘I’m excited to see how fast and where I can go! I think running and exercise is a vital part of physical emotional and mental health and I am very fortunate to be able to prescribe and inspire this as my role as a full time physiotherapist in Merimbula and Bega NSW at Sapphire Coast Physiotherapy. I love the freedom of running, so go find your freedom and take yourself somewhere worth going to.’

Steph’s favourite Wilderness running socks are the Merino Multi Sport and Xfit Extreme Graduated Compression socks.
