100% of the merino wool from this collection comes from Tasmania. The wool from this natural paradise is premium-quality and hard wearing. But just as important for us, this material is ethically and ecologically sound. We have very high expectations of the farmers. A large portion of their working time is committed to ensuring sustainable farm management and animal welfare.

Athletic FitMore of a “tailored” fit that is tighter across the middle and shoulder sections in tops and tighter across the backside, upper thigh and lower leg sections in leggings. Slim FitA snug, close-to-the body fit for low bulk, layering. Clothing in this style don’t have extra fabric hanging or draping anywhere. Regular FitNeither snug, nor loose, these garments are worn solo or over other layers. Regular fit clothing tends to fit most body types comfortably and have a little extra fabric than slim fit. Relaxed FitRelaxed refers to a fit that’s looser than regular, but not baggy. Typically, relaxed clothing provide a comfortable, looser fit. |

These are awesome for trail running / fast paced hikes in the wet (and cool)! Durability and odour resistance is amazing. Footbed cushioning and reinforcement feels spot on. Had no trouble with blisters or hotspots from seams.
A go to sock for off-road run adventures. Comfortable, breathable and no blisters they are a high cut which adds extra protection from the elements. Love them ☺️
Extremely comfortable sock, kept my feet toasty warm in freezing temperatures. Padded toes and heel for ultimate comfort. Locally made and a beautiful colour – what more could you ask for.
Oh my goodness you found me a Ver. 2.0!! Love them thank you (all)! Back soon thanks again you’ve the best customer service in the world.
In late 2019, I ran across Australia, 30 miles a day for four months on dirt roads, in Wilderness Wear’s Merino Multi-Sport and Atmosphere socks. In specific, I literally only rotated through two pairs – one Merino Multi-Sport and one Atmosphere – over 2,210 total miles! The fact that both pairs held up through all of this running is absolutely a testament to the durability and quality of these socks. Also, wool is absolutely the way to go; my socks NEVER smelled and they always kept my feet dry enough at the right temperature. If I wanted more cushion, I wore the Merino Multi-Sport. If I wanted more sun protection up my calves, I went with the Atmosphere. I rarely got blisters which is a HUGE benefit of these socks. I’m a fan and convert, and don’t plan to wear any other socks for any of my future runs!
