My husband and I both tried out our new socks today and were very happy!
I started following Frances Antonia on Instagram and became curious about your socks through seeing them on there. So I ordered some on Friday evening and didn't expect them to come so quickly. My husband and I both tried out our new socks today and were very happy! They were so comfortable. I'm set for my upcoming trip to Tassie, and my husband is happy that he has found comfortable socks to wear with his work boots. We'll probably be ordering some more before long!nAnd we love that they are all Australian!

Wore this running and cycling across Australia
I wore the MerinoFusion 190 Long Sleeve Zip most mornings during our run and cycle across Australia. It was all I needed during the cool morning hours from 4AM to just after sunrise when we'd stop to brew up some coffee off to the side of the track. I'd put it on again first thing in the evening when we finished the day and were setting up camp to keep the chill off. On rest days, I didn't really have many spare clothes to wear while doing laundry, so I'd often hang out in the 1/4 zip all day, but it never gathered an odour. Back in the U.S.A. I've worn it on several cycling trips and find it to be the perfect layer over a wool t-shirt or on bare skin as it's not itchy like some wool products. I've been a big fan of wool for many years now and felt proud and happy to be wearing Wilderness Wear's 200% Australian wool products across the Outback

The fact that both pairs held up through all of this running is absolutely a testament to the durability and quality of these socks.
In late 2019, I ran across Australia, 30 miles a day for four months on dirt roads, in Wilderness Wear’s Merino Multi-Sport and Atmosphere socks. In specific, I literally only rotated through two pairs - one Merino Multi-Sport and one Atmosphere - over 2,210 total miles! The fact that both pairs held up through all of this running is absolutely a testament to the durability and quality of these socks. Also, wool is absolutely the way to go; my socks NEVER smelled and they always kept my feet dry enough at the right temperature. If I wanted more cushion, I wore the Merino Multi-Sport. If I wanted more sun protection up my calves, I went with the Atmosphere. I rarely got blisters which is a HUGE benefit of these socks. I’m a fan and convert, and don’t plan to wear any other socks for any of my future runs!

Fitting, flattering and soft
I have the blue version of this singlet and the fabric is so soft and light. nSometimes marino feels scratchy on my skin but this blend is so comfortable and soft. It keeps me cool on runs and is beautifully fitting if I am doing yoga. The way the seams are designed is also really flattering for a womans body. nPlus it's sustainable - what more could you ask for!

Perfect weight, not scratchy, seams nonintrusive.
Perfect weight, not scratchy, seams nonintrusive. Only wore a couple of times under my helmet for testing purposes as I usually wear my hair in a plait that feeds out above the rear fastner of my helmet (ordinarily I use a fleece skullcap that has a slit at the back that I thread my ponytail through). Had plenty of use around camp when packing up/down though. Come to think of it, I should probably just bust out the sewing machine and add a hair port to this…

These are awesome for trail running / fast paced hikes in the wet (and cool)!
These are awesome for trail running / fast paced hikes in the wet (and cool)! Durability and odour resistance is amazing. Footbed cushioning and reinforcement feels spot on. Had no trouble with blisters or hotspots from seams.

A great hiking sock.
Love the Aztec print on both these and the Fusion Max. A little too cushioned through the foot bed for me to wear cycling in Tasmania based on what I’m comfortable with (stiff, narrow racing shoes), but a great hiking sock.

A really versatile sock though, and perfect for my winter cycling.
These had a lot of use through winter for cycling. Height/weight/cushioning was perfect (I would’ve ordinarily found them a little too cushioned, but the mesh vent zones through the foot bed slimmed them down just enough to maintain that feel of direct contact with the pedals). I found them super durable in some very scratchy hike and bike scenarios – still look like new. As with the Atmospheres, the photoluminescent yarn didn’t seem particularly effective, but didn’t detract from the sock performance. My one comment would be that the toe seam was sometimes a little bulky/obstructive when the sock was wet – I think maybe because of the high % merino, they sagged slightly through the foot bed when wet, and allowed the seam to move around. A really versatile sock though, and perfect for my winter cycling.

Socks for the Summit
These are the socks for anything. I wore these most days on a trip to the Cradle Mountain National Park in Tasmania including an 8 hour day where we hiked to the Summit of Cradle Mountain. This "hike" included 2 hours of scrambling over rocks (only in asics runners) in thick fog, high winds and cold temperatures. These socks kept my feet warm and dry in very tough conditions. They have held up brilliantly over many uses and are extremely odor resistant. Not to mention the comfort and awesome design. My go-to socks.
