Fantastic
The Xfit xtreme socks are fantastic! I’ve been wearing on shoot days which are usually long and I’m on my feet most of the time. The socks are super comfortable, supportive (but not too tight). I will be getting a lot of use out of these ones.

Overland Hiker socks - 10 out of 10
Well, a dual Wilderness Wear review!!! The Overland Hiker socks and the Chameleon Strider Shell jackets!nI was fortunate enough to win a pair of the socks - and left it until this weekend to give them a thorough test! A 4 Day Hike to Kia Ora Hut on the Overland Track in Tasmania.nI put the socks on at home in the morning - boy were they comfy, so soft and warm! Drove off to Lake St Clair, and after the usual bumpy ferry ride, we started the walk to the first hut (Windy Ridge Hut). Weather would be considered "Ordinary" - rain, rain, and heavy rain!nThe socks were brilliant - no wearing, blisters, hot feet or sore spots at all! The kilometres rolled by with no issues at all. Then the dreaded "Puddle-too-deep-to-avoid" happened, and say hello to wet socks and boots! Here's where I expected cold feet, and blisters... but nope! Perfect! Wet, yes, but my feet were still comfy and still no blisters.nWe got to the hut, and my daughter and I were still both bone dry from the great Chameleon Strider Shell jackets we had on. We weren't sweaty, but perfectly dry and comfortable. Amazing.nSo the next day was a very, very unexpected snowstorm that laid us up in the hut, for the whole day and also dashed our hopes of getting to Kia Ora Hut. The rangers said it wouldn't be a pleasant walk. So we called it, had a relaxing rest day, played in the snow, and decided to head back the next day.nThe next day dawned, the snow had turned back to rain again - and it was time to put on the still damp socks and wet boots (hard to dry anything in a hut with no heater and an average temperature of 3 degrees!) but after a few minutes, my feet were warm again (but damp), and we trudged back to our starting point! Still no blisters, amazing! Of course we were still dry on top as the Chameleon shells were doing their usual brilliant job of keeping the rain out!nI've not had such a comfortable walk in ages... I'd just wished I'd managed to get some of the Chameleon Strider rain pants for my daughter & I when I'd had the chance!nOverland Hiker socks - 10 out of 10nChameleon Shell Jacket - 10 out of 10

Hands-down the lightest yet warmest jacket I own
Yasmine Al-Bustami USA (March 2019)
The Alpine jacket has been my go-to jacket since I got it! I’ve been wearing it EVERYWHERE–on my early morning hikes, every time I go for a run, as well as when I travel. Hands-down the lightest yet warmest jacket I own. The thumb holes are an added bonus!

An exceptional active base layer.
An exceptional active base layer. The seam positioning is really clever to create an attractive silhouette, and the blue colour is lovely (sometimes aesthetics matter) and keep the garment close to the skin without being tight. Retains excellent warmth when wet, and is highly breathable. Also surprisingly durable to snagging when worn as an outer layer. I’ve shopped A LOT for merino singlet base layers, and the three things I look for are: (1) ultralight blend, (2) must have sizing suitable to small people and not excessively long (tucking into knicks for cycling purposes), and (3) a relatively low scooped neck, so that efficient venting is still possible by cracking the zip on a jersey. This ticks all those boxes, and I can confidently tell you that none of the mainstream outdoor or cycling brands (as at autumn 2019) had a single product offering that suited these purposes.

I found it really amazing that the same top kept me warm when it was cold and kept me cool when it was hot
The WW Base layers were all extremely comfortable and soft. Not itchy at all. As there was no laundry facility or even showers as we climbed higher, the clothes’ odour-resistance was ESSENTIAL and very obvious. They simply didn’t smell and they also dried very quickly. I found it really amazing that the same top kept me warm when it was cold, and kept me cool when it was hot. I wore the pair of long johns at night as a pj and they kept me very warm’. I found the merino fusion top very interesting. It has all the qualities of a merino top, warm and comfortable, but not as soft and doesn’t cling to the body as much. I feel it’s more suitable as a top layer with a lighter weight merino underneath.

I'm converted
I am now a total Wilderness Wear sock convert. Wore my new 10K's to gym this morning (I'm a 15 year Icebreaker wearer) and was super impressed with the comfort and support. Great item.

I didn’t notice I had them on.
The Xfit eXtreme’s are very comfortable socks. They provided great compression. Wore them for short run and then during the day I didn’t feel any soreness after the run. I have been sceptical of compression clothing in the past. Wilderness Wear has made a great sock with even better materials within the sock. As someone who has a sports science degree I can highly recommend these socks.

The performance of the T-shirt Fusion 160 over the whole week hiking has been excellent
I’ve just got back from my trip around the Larapinta. And the performance of the T-shirt Fusion 160 over the whole week hiking has been excellent. The wicking of the fabric was unbelievable and aid me during the unseasonable hot days. Also its breathability kept me cool under the sun and quite warm during the evening. I wore the T-shirt during the days and the evenings since the expected nights around 0C did not occur. Moreover, after 7 days of heavy usage the clothing barely had any smell so I can assure you that its antibacterial properties also worked well.
Again thank you! Your company has developed an incredible new fabric that sustained really tough conditions over a whole week of walking an average of 6 to 7 hours, 20 km per day, carrying 18 kg and day temperatures of 28 to 30 C.
