I ran 200km to assess properly
I wanted to knock over 200km to assess these socks properly. I’ve had a persistent blister on the outside of my toe that has always required taping on my long run but not with the WW socks I have found these eXtreme socks to be great while offering some cushioning as well. So out with the old USA made socks and in with these locally made running socks. Thanks WW keep up the great work.

My husband and I both tried out our new socks today and were very happy!
I started following Frances Antonia on Instagram and became curious about your socks through seeing them on there. So I ordered some on Friday evening and didn't expect them to come so quickly. My husband and I both tried out our new socks today and were very happy! They were so comfortable. I'm set for my upcoming trip to Tassie, and my husband is happy that he has found comfortable socks to wear with his work boots. We'll probably be ordering some more before long! And we love that they are all Australian!

I’ll be wearing them in my next ultra marathon
I absolutely love the WW Xfit Xtreme compression socks having used them during my long training runs. They are comfortable and feel like they aren’t even there. I love wearing them and will definitely be wearing them in my next ultra marathon.

Wow. This fabric is the duck's guts and was certainly worth the wait.
Wow. This fabric is the duck's guts and was certainly worth the wait. I did a few runs over Easter and there is absolutely zero chafe and the wicking ability is excellent. The compression held up and overall it's just about the best thing I've ever run in. My only comment is that I'd probably spec these as being for someone with a max 5'10"/5'11" frame, particularly on the top. The legs aren't really an issue length-wise as I like them to be a little off the ankle anyway (I appreciate that this is subjective) though an extra 25mm wouldn't go astray, however I do find the top to be too short in both arm and torso. I'm not in possession of a washboard stomach by any stretch of the imagination, but it gets revealed pretty easily if I raise my arms at all!! My 2 bobs worth is probably 25mm in the arms and double that in the torso.

These merino wool leggings from Wilderness Wear are brilliant.
These leggings are extremely comfortable as they’re soft on the inside. I’ve never owned a pair of woollen leggings before, but after trying these on I will never turn back to polyester or cotton leggings again. The leggings simply feels different- they are lighter, warmer and a bit less sheer compared to normal exercise leggings. I plan to layer this with my yoga pants or track pants, to give it extra warmth during the snowy months.

I feel like I'm not wearing anything but they keep me super warm during Winter hikes.
They're made from pure merino wool but feels really different because the outer fabric is made from a nylon spandex blend. These leggings are extremely comfortable as they're soft on the inside, but stretchy and strong on the outside. I've been looking for leggings that actually stretch during hikes and these are perfect for long walks and even light jogging. What I love about these leggings are that they're incredibly snug and fits so well on the skin. I feel like I'm not wearing anything but they keep me super warm during the winter hikes that I went on recently in Hong Kong. These leggings are made to withstand tough days and nights on a mountain, and I'm definitely ready to take these for a trip.

One of my favourites. Great green colour with cool texture.
One of my favourites. Great green colour with cool texture. Nice fit that is very flattering. I have gotten so many compliments for this top, it looks very outdoorsy but can still wear with jeans around town. Wore this climbing in the Arapiles for a week, climbing and sleeping in it. No smell, very comfortable. Little bit of rubbing where harness sat, but didn’t pill and still looks great.

I wore the pair of long johns at night as a pj and they kept me very warm
The WW Base layers were all extremely comfortable and soft. Not itchy at all. As there was no laundry facility or even showers as we climbed higher, the clothes' odour-resistance was ESSENTIAL and very obvious. They simply didn't smell and they also dried very quickly.  I found it really amazing that the same top kept me warm when it was cold, and kept me cool when it was hot. I wore the pair of long johns at night as a pj and they kept me very warm’. ‘I found the merino fusion top very interesting. It has all the qualities of a merino top, warm and comfortable, but not as soft and doesn't cling to the body as much.  I feel it's more suitable as a top layer with a lighter weight merino underneath.

Fantastic
The Xfit xtreme socks are fantastic! I’ve been wearing on shoot days which are usually long and I’m on my feet most of the time. The socks are super comfortable, supportive (but not too tight). I will be getting a lot of use out of these ones.

Overland Hiker socks - 10 out of 10
Well, a dual Wilderness Wear review!!! The Overland Hiker socks and the Chameleon Strider Shell jackets!nI was fortunate enough to win a pair of the socks - and left it until this weekend to give them a thorough test! A 4 Day Hike to Kia Ora Hut on the Overland Track in Tasmania.nI put the socks on at home in the morning - boy were they comfy, so soft and warm! Drove off to Lake St Clair, and after the usual bumpy ferry ride, we started the walk to the first hut (Windy Ridge Hut). Weather would be considered "Ordinary" - rain, rain, and heavy rain!nThe socks were brilliant - no wearing, blisters, hot feet or sore spots at all! The kilometres rolled by with no issues at all. Then the dreaded "Puddle-too-deep-to-avoid" happened, and say hello to wet socks and boots! Here's where I expected cold feet, and blisters... but nope! Perfect! Wet, yes, but my feet were still comfy and still no blisters.nWe got to the hut, and my daughter and I were still both bone dry from the great Chameleon Strider Shell jackets we had on. We weren't sweaty, but perfectly dry and comfortable. Amazing.nSo the next day was a very, very unexpected snowstorm that laid us up in the hut, for the whole day and also dashed our hopes of getting to Kia Ora Hut. The rangers said it wouldn't be a pleasant walk. So we called it, had a relaxing rest day, played in the snow, and decided to head back the next day.nThe next day dawned, the snow had turned back to rain again - and it was time to put on the still damp socks and wet boots (hard to dry anything in a hut with no heater and an average temperature of 3 degrees!) but after a few minutes, my feet were warm again (but damp), and we trudged back to our starting point! Still no blisters, amazing! Of course we were still dry on top as the Chameleon shells were doing their usual brilliant job of keeping the rain out!nI've not had such a comfortable walk in ages... I'd just wished I'd managed to get some of the Chameleon Strider rain pants for my daughter & I when I'd had the chance!nOverland Hiker socks - 10 out of 10nChameleon Shell Jacket - 10 out of 10
