My Wilderness Wear 200% Australian owned woolen compression thermal is unbelievably awesome! It’s snug, and keeps me warm when in and out of water, no seams that chafe under the arms, While rowing the George Bass Surf Boat Marathon in the heat of january along the south coast of NSW. I would spend several hours every day in and out the water, either rowing or sitting immobile in the support boat. Going from Icey cold water to hard exercise in the heat to sitting damp and still in a windy support boat, I never wanted to to take it off. After 7 days with only a daily rinse it didn’t stink!!!

Extremely comfortable and soft
The WW Base layers were all extremely comfortable and soft. Not itchy at all. As there was no laundry facility or even showers as we climbed higher, the clothes’ odour-resistance was ESSENTIAL
and very obvious. They simply didn’t smell and they also dried very quickly. I found it really amazing that the same top kept me warm when it was cold, and kept me cool when it was hot. I wore the pair of long johns at night as a pj and they kept me very warm. I found the merino fusion top very interesting. It has all the qualities of a merino top, warm and comfortable, but not as soft and doesn’t cling to the body as much. I feel it’s more suitable as a top layer with a lighter weight merino underneath.

I gave the Wilderness ‘Cape to Cape Light Hiker’ socks a try.
A bit over a year ago I started training in earnest for a longnwalk that I am taking later this year, the Camino de Santiago.nOnce I began getting some serious hours up in daily andnweekend walks I started to refine my options for clothing, nshoes and of course, my socks. Apart from the obviousndecisions about comfort, the socks needed to be merino wool asnthey appear to be the only type of sock that can be washed at nightnand be ready to wear the next morning. This is important when I amnonly taking two pairs of socks in total. When you are going to walknfor over a month and plan for the total backpack weight including ansleeping bag to come in under 6 kilos, everything has to performnwell. There can be no passengers.I bought some very well regardednand highly priced brands, and all performed really well for the shorternwalks or in any normal activity. But during summer, these fanciednbrands often fell short as pounding the pavement for several hoursnin temperatures in the high 30’s showed the construction was notnsuitable for softening feet in overheated conditions. One day Inended up with an imprint of a sock’s internal construction embeddedninto my sole, and that was from a very well regarded brand .I startednto look at other varieties of merino socks and gave the Wildernessn‘Cape to Cape Light Hiker’ socks a try.

Review of PolyPRO+ 190 LONG SLEEVE HOODY
5 stars
It's probably meant to be a base layer thermal but actually makes a good looking practical, compact and robust all round hoody for everyday wear. I love that it's lightweight, crushable, has a zipper and a hood for a range of temperatures and uses. I use it to start my chilly winter morning runs, as I warm up, I can shove up the sleeves put down hood and zip. Take it off and tie it around my waist knowing I can't stretch it or distort it. My only problem with it is it took 15 years to wear out my last one, and that means I can't get another until this one does too

Thank you
I’ve just got back from my trip around the Larapinta. And the performance of the T-shirt Fusion 60 over the whole week hiking has been excellent. The wicking of the fabric was unbelievable and aid me during the unseasonable hot days. Also its breathability kept me cool under the sun and quite warm during the evening. I wore the T-shirt during the days and the evenings since the expected nights around 0C did not occur. Moreover, after 7 days of heavy usage the clothing barely had any smell so I can assure you that its antibacterial properties also worked well.nnAgain thank you! Your company has developed an incredible new fabric that sustained really tough conditions over a whole week of walking an average of 6 to 7 hours, 20 km per day, carrying 18 kg and day temperatures of 28 to 30 C”

I never wanted to take it off
What I hate about compression is that it's often too restrictive for free and efficient movement when exercising. I also feel like I'm wearing a very clingy plastic bag, that doesn't keep you warm when wet, and quickly becomes stinky and I just need to get it off! HOWEVER my Wilderness Wear 200% Australian owned woolen compression thermal is unbelievably awesome! It's snug, and keeps me warm when in and out of water, no seams that chafe under the arms. Whilst rowing the George Bass Surf Boat Marathon in the heat of January, along the south coast of NSW, I would spend several hours every day in and out the water, either rowing or sitting immobile in the support boat.
